You grant us permission to print your order, and nothing beyond that.
Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Canvas4Seasons LLC when you use this site or place an order. We have kept it in plain English — the parts that matter most to you are image rights and what happens if something goes wrong.
Your browser sends what you chose, never an amount. We reprice it all.
Unlawful or infringing material is refused and refunded, not printed.
Where your local consumer law gives you more than this, that law applies.
Agreeing to these terms
By browsing this site or placing an order you agree to these terms, to our Privacy Policy, our Shipping Policy and our Returns & Refunds Policy, which form part of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not order.
You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the payment method you use must be yours to use.
Your photographs and your rights
Your photographs remain yours. Uploading one gives us nothing but permission to make what you ordered.
Specifically, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to store, reproduce, crop, colour-correct and print your image for the sole purpose of producing and delivering your order, and to hold it for a limited period afterwards so the order can be remade if needed. That licence covers nothing else. We will not display it, publish it, license it to anyone, use it to advertise, or use it to train any model.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from an image you supplied that you did not have the right to use.
What you may not upload
We will refuse and refund an order rather than print material that is unlawful or harmful. We do not print:
- Sexual content, and never anything involving a minor.
- Content that incites violence or hatred against people or groups.
- Images that infringe someone else's copyright or trademark.
- Currency, identity documents, or anything intended to deceive.
- Content that is unlawful where we operate or where the parcel is going.
We review every image before printing. Where an order is refused on these grounds it is refunded in full; where it is unlawful we may be obliged to report it.
Orders, pricing and payment
- An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we email your confirmation, and a contract exists from that moment.
- Every price is recalculated on our server from our own catalogue at the moment you check out. What your browser sends us is which product, size and quantity you chose — never an amount.
- Prices are in US dollars and include free standard shipping. They do not include import duty or taxes charged by a destination country.
- If a genuine pricing error means an item was listed far below its real price, we may cancel and refund rather than fulfil it. We will always tell you before we do.
- Payment is taken at checkout. Production does not start until payment has cleared.
Vouchers and promotional codes
- One code per order unless a promotion says otherwise, and codes do not stack.
- A Groupon voucher covers the base product it was sold for. Upgrades — a larger size, a frame, a hanging kit, a second item — are charged separately.
- Each voucher code may be redeemed once. A redeemed code cannot be reused or transferred.
- Codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Refunds on a voucher order are handled by whoever sold the voucher; anything you paid us on top is refunded by us. See our returns policy.
- We may withdraw or change a promotion at any time, without affecting an order already placed.
Your account
Verifying your email with a one-time code creates an account, so you can follow your order and see what you have bought. There is no password to lose — signing in always sends a fresh code to your email.
Keep access to that mailbox secure: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access. You can ask us to close the account at any time.
Product descriptions and variation
We describe our materials and sizes as accurately as we can, but every piece is made by hand from a photograph, and handmade things vary. Colour on a screen and colour on canvas are not the same measurement, natural wood grain differs piece to piece, and trimmed sizes carry a small tolerance.
Photographs on this site are illustrative. The finished quality of your piece depends heavily on the resolution and quality of the image you supply — printing cannot add detail that is not in the file. Our returns policy sets out what counts as normal variation and what counts as a fault we will fix.
Our intellectual property
The site, its design, text, graphics, product photography and the Canvas4Seasons name and logo are owned by or licensed to Canvas4Seasons LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape or commercially exploit them without our written permission. Nothing here transfers any of our rights to you, and nothing here affects your rights in your own photographs.
Using the site
Please do not:
- Interfere with the site, or try to gain access to systems or data that are not yours.
- Scrape, mirror or bulk-download the site or its images.
- Place orders fraudulently, or use a payment method you are not entitled to use.
- Misuse voucher codes, including generating or trading them.
We may suspend or refuse service where these terms are broken.
Disclaimers
The site is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that delivery estimates will be met exactly — they are estimates, and carriers are outside our control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost opportunity, or the disappointment of a gift arriving after an occasion. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, which always take precedence over this policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your own country's law, and may bring proceedings in your local courts where that law allows.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date at the top of this page shows when the wording last changed.
Questions about any of this go to support@canvas4seasons.com, or through the contact form. We answer in plain English.
