2.8 mm round drills with a 20-facet crown. They sit slightly apart, so a hairline of canvas shows between them and the surface catches light from more angles — the sparklier of the two.

3Choose Size

Full Round drills are 2.8 mm, so a bigger canvas means more of them rather than larger ones. Every kit ships with 30–45 colours.

4Anything We Should Know?

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

A Kit Made From Your Picture

Not a stock design with your name on it — the drill map is generated from the photo you upload, and checked by a person before it prints.

The pattern is made from your photo

Your picture is converted to a drill map and printed onto the canvas with a symbol in every cell, so you're following your own image rather than a stock design.

Resin drills, 30 to 45 colours

Each kit carries 30–45 colours — enough for skin tones and soft gradients to hold together instead of banding into blocks.

Everything in one box

Printed adhesive canvas, the drills bagged by colour, a placement pen, two gel tiles, a tray and an alignment tool. Nothing else to buy.

DRILL SHAPE

Round Or Square

Both cover the canvas completely — the difference is the finish and how fast the work goes.

Full Round

2.8 mm20 facets

2.8 mm round drills with a 20-facet crown. They sit slightly apart, so a hairline of canvas shows between them and the surface catches light from more angles — the sparklier of the two.

Easier to pick up and forgiving if one lands a little off-centre, which makes it the kinder choice for a first kit. Tweezers aren't needed, so they aren't included.

Full Square

2.5 mm9 or 13 facets

2.5 mm square drills, cut with 9 or 13 facets. They tile edge to edge with no canvas showing between them, for a crisper, mosaic-tight finish that reads sharper close up.

Each one has to be squared up against its neighbours, so the work is slower and more precise. Square kits ship with tweezers for exactly that reason.

SIZES & DRILL COUNTS

Every Size We Make

Drill size is fixed across the whole range — 2.8 mm round, 2.5 mm square — so a larger canvas means more of them, and more detail in the picture, rather than bigger pieces.

IN THE BOX

Everything The Kit Includes

One box, nothing else to buy. Every kit carries the same tools, with a single difference between the two drill shapes.

  • Printed adhesive canvasYour picture converted to a symbol map and printed on tacky canvas, with the colour chart running down the side. Peel the film back as you work.
  • Resin drillsThe rhinestones themselves, bagged and numbered by colour — 30–45 colours depending on the size you choose, plus spares.
  • Placement penThe applicator. Press its tip into the gel, then lift one drill at a time straight onto its symbol.
  • Gel tiles × 2The wax that makes the pen tip pick up a drill. Two tiles, so there's a spare when the first loses its grip.
  • TrayA grooved pallet. Pour a colour in, shake it flat, and every drill lands facet-up ready to lift.
  • Alignment toolA flat comb for pressing whole rows down at once and straightening any drill that has drifted off its line.
  • TweezersSquare-drill kits onlyFor nudging a drill exactly square against its neighbours.
HOW IT WORKS

Three Steps, Then Repeat

There is nothing to learn beyond this. The canvas tells you which colour goes where.

  1. 01

    Load the pen

Press the tip of the placement pen into a gel tile. The wax it picks up is what holds a drill on the end.

  2. 02

Find the symbol, place the drill

Every cell on the canvas carries a symbol matching a numbered bag. Lift that colour and press it down — the adhesive holds it.

  3. 03

    Fill in bulk

Once a colour is flowing, pour it into the tray and use the wide tool to place and flatten several rows at a time.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

Diamond Painting Questions

Which size should I choose?

Bigger is easier. Drill size is fixed — 2.8 mm round, 2.5 mm square — so a larger canvas gives each part of the picture more of them rather than bigger ones. Faces in particular need room: for a portrait we'd suggest 40 × 50 cm or larger; below 30 × 40 cm a face is only a few dozen drills across.

Round or square drills?

Round drills are 2.8 mm with a 20-facet crown; they sit slightly apart, sparkle more and are quicker to place. Square drills are 2.5 mm with 9 or 13 facets and tile edge to edge for a crisper finish, but each has to be squared up against its neighbours. If it's your first kit, choose round. Note that tweezers are only included with square kits, since round drills don't need them.

How long does one take?

Roughly an hour per 1,000 drills once you have a rhythm. A 30 × 40 cm kit is about 15,000 round drills or 19,000 square ones, so think of it as a project rather than an evening.

What makes a good photo for this?

Strong, simple subjects with clear light. Busy backgrounds and fine detail turn to mush at drill resolution — the preview on this page shows you exactly how yours will read before you order.

Is it safe for children?

The drills are resin and chemical-free, but they're small and a choking hazard for young children. Kits are best for older children and adults.
