The colors are strong, clear and detailed. Even fine nuances and small details are razor-sharp. Unique gift idea
Box came a little different from what other people had shown in reviews but I also chose the quickest turn around time. It was perfect. I sent in our last family Christmas portrait of our family before my dad passed away. I gave it to my mom for Mother’s Day and she cried. She was so happy to have a photo of my dad, her kids and her husband all together on from our last Christmas with him. The quality was exceptional! I highly recommend this. Wooden Puzzle Questions
How many pieces should I choose?
Piece count follows size — a 10 × 15 cm puzzle is 35 pieces, a 57 × 87 cm one is 1,500. For a gift that gets built in an evening, 300 pieces is the usual answer. For something that lives on a table for a week, go to 500 or beyond.
Does my photo need to be high resolution?
More than for a print, because a puzzle is looked at from a few inches away. Upload yours and the page reads the resolution and tells you which sizes it can handle cleanly.
Can I have it framed?
Yes, in black, white or natural wood, on the 10 × 15, 15 × 20, 25 × 35, 26 × 38 and 38 × 52 cm sizes. The frame is made to hold the finished puzzle so it can go straight on the wall.
What happens to the part of my photo outside the puzzle?
It isn't printed. The preview shows exactly what gets cut, and you can drag the picture within it to decide what stays in.
Is it safe for children?
The board is wood with no harmful chemicals. Small pieces are a choking hazard for under-threes, so the larger piece counts are for older children and adults.
